Vanessa M. Pastore, M.A., is a pediatric occupational therapist with training in sensory integration evaluation and intervention. She is certified in the administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT). She is also certified in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), which emphasizes the importance of posture and movement patterns in performing functional tasks.
Pastore has more than 20 years of extensive clinical and supervisory experience in a wide variety of private and public settings in and around New York City. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at her alma mater, New York University. She also teaches continuing education classes to her colleagues and guest lectures at universities on sensory integration.
Pastore is a registered and licensed occupational therapist in New York. She is also certified in personal fitness training, clinical interactive metronome training (CIMT) and advanced therapeutic listening. She began her private practice, Createabilities OT, PLLC, in 2002 and provides consultation and educational workshops to various independent schools in New York City.
