# Video: Learning how to play piano with ADHD

For Anna, who has [ADHD](https://www.understood.org/en/articles/what-is-adhd), playing the piano was an escape from her struggles in school. She loved it. But she had trouble with the piano “homework” she was assigned. One of her piano teachers even discouraged her from continuing to play.

Eventually her family found a new teacher with a better approach for kids who learn and think differently. Hear from Anna about how her love of playing the piano continues today.
