At just 11 years old, Ella Griffith-Tager was already making an impact on the lives of future students with [dyslexia](https://www.understood.org/en/articles/what-is-dyslexia).

Ella’s mom, Miriam Tager, is a professor who teaches graduate students in education. Watching Ella struggle gave Tager a new understanding of reading challenges.
