Jenifer Kasten is a parent and special education consultant in Arizona. Her work includes education, disability, mental health and criminal justice issues. She recently cofounded the Phoenix affiliate of Parents Education Network, an Understood partner. As part of Decoding Dyslexia Arizona, she led a successful effort to pass the state’s first-ever law to address dyslexia.
Before moving to Arizona, Kasten was an attorney in Washington, DC. She has two children with learning and attention issues.
