Lydia H. Soifer, PhD, is a language pathologist with more than 40 years of experience as a parent educator, teacher trainer, and staff developer. She is an assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a faculty member in its Early Intervention Training Institute. She was the founder and director of the Soifer Center for Learning and Child Development.
Soifer specializes in the role of language in the development of children’s learning, literacy, behavior, and social-emotional development. She is a frequent presenter at professional conferences across the country.
