Karren J. Garrity, MS, LPC, NCC, is a therapist, author, and speaker based in Kent, Connecticut. In her private practice, she works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She leads workshops on parenting skills, values clarification, conflict resolution, and peer mediation.

Garrity graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and earned her master’s degree in counseling from Western Connecticut University. In 2013 she published The Tool Box: Building Better Relationships, a book for parents and guardians that focuses on communication and life coping skills. In 2014 she launched the podcast Master Your Feelings, Master Your Life. She was the founding chairperson of the Kent Education and Learning Foundation, and she has also served on the Kent Board of Education.
