Danielle Ward

Danielle Ward is a writer and public relations consultant. She is on the marketing team for Understood and is passionate about parent advocacy for special education.

Ward is the mother of two kids who learn and think differently. She started her journey as a parent advocate by creating a grade school support group for families at the parochial school her children attend. She enjoys working closely with parents, teachers, administrators, and learning specialists as they take steps to support children with special needs in the classroom and at home.
