Giselle Ceja, MA, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Pasadena, California. Since 2008, Ceja has provided psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families. Her work includes identifying mental health issues that might impair a child’s ability to learn and function in an effective manner. She has worked closely with individuals of diverse backgrounds but her work has mainly focused on Hispanic families.
In collaboration with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Ceja completes comprehensive assessments of abused children and youth who have recently been removed from their caregivers by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. She also links families with appropriate services to ensure the optimal development of their children.
Ceja received a master’s degree in psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute and is licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
