Bob Cunningham is President & CEO of the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children, a non-governmental organization based in Alexandria, VA with representation in 12 countries. He also continues to serve as executive director for learning development at Understood, where he has been part of the team since its founding.
Cunningham has advised many nonprofit organizations and philanthropic foundations through work with the Poses Family Foundation and New Profit, Inc. He has been the chief administrator for several independent schools and a school leader in both general and special education for multiple public districts. He has served as a trustee or advisory board member for organizations such as Teleperformance, the National Center for Learning Disabilities, the NVLD Project, Hunter College’s Department of Special Education, and many schools.
Bob holds a BS from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and two master’s degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University. He also taught at Teachers College, in the departments of special education and curriculum and teaching.
