Rayma Griffin, MA, MEd

Educational Consultant

Rayma Griffin, MEd, dedicated 40 years of her professional life to working with children with learning and thinking differences both in the classroom and as an administrator in the public and private sectors. In 1975, Griffin was part of the team of educators who founded Eagle Hill School, a boarding and day school in Greenwich, Connecticut, that serves children ages 6–16 who have learning disabilities.

Griffin most recently served as the director of admissions and placement at Eagle Hill, where she was also responsible for curriculum development, student assessment, and faculty supervision and evaluation. Griffin worked closely with parents as liaison between the parent association and faculty.

Griffin earned a dual degree in psychology and special education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She holds a master’s degree in special education and a sixth-year degree in organizational leadership from the University of Connecticut. Currently, Griffin is an educational consultant advocating for the rights of children who have learning disabilities and ADHD.
