Eso Romero, MS, has had a career in education for more than 20 years. She has worked with grade school, middle school, and high school students as a classroom teacher, tutor and learning specialist. She has also operated a business serving the educational needs of children who learn and think differently.
Romero is currently a learning specialist at a K–8 independent school in Brooklyn, New York. She is passionate about helping children understand both who they are and what they need as learners. And she is focused on teaching kids the skills they need to advocate for themselves.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Brown University and a master’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from Bank Street College.
