Myriam Alizo

Associate Director, Center for Parent Information and Resources

Myriam Alizo is associate director of the National Center for Parenting Information and Resources (CPIR) and deputy director of the National RAISE Center. Her extensive professional experience includes providing technical assistance to parenting centers, serving families and youth with disabilities, organizing seminars, and analyzing data.

Previously, she led the English-Spanish Glossary Project for the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) of the United States Department of Education. In 2017, she participated in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program, providing ideas for families of children with disabilities to start and run special education advisory groups in their communities.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, Venezuela.
