Sarah Greenberg is a licensed psychotherapist, leadership coach, and recognized leader in digital mental health and education technology. At Understood, she oversees the organization’s behavioral health portfolio and leads a network of more than 90 credentialed experts who inform and shape its work. She also co-leads initiatives focused on women with ADHD, developing evidence-based solutions to support this often-overlooked community — including ADHD Unstuck, a single-session intervention developed in partnership with Northwestern University.

Previously, Greenberg served as director of clinical design at BetterUp and advised high-impact startups, including Headspace and Lemonaid Health. Her earlier work centered on trauma recovery, affordable mental health access, social justice, and education. She has spoken at leading conferences like Behavioral Health Tech and the Grace Hopper Celebration, and to major organizations including Google, MongoDB, and Crayola. Her work has been featured in Fast Company, Forbes, and Psychology Today, where she authors the Life’s Work column.

Greenberg holds an MEd in prevention science and practice from Harvard University, an MA in mind-body counseling from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and additional degrees in the social sciences from McGill University and the London School of Economics. A parent and lifelong learner, she has also been a dedicated mindfulness practitioner for nearly 20 years.
