By The Understood Team

Dr. Gabrielle Rappolt-Schlichtmann was diagnosed with dyslexia as a child. As she grew up, she developed a passion for science. Now, as the chief scientist for EdTogether, Gabrielle draws on her personal experience and knowledge of science to study stigma in school. The goal? To reimagine schools so they can be more inclusive and supportive of all students.

Watch as she talks about her personal struggles, why she was drawn to science, and how she ended up working to help kids with dyslexia.
