Analisa L. Smith, EdD, serves on the national board of directors of the Learning Disabilities Association of America and is president of its state affiliate in South Carolina. Smith has worked for over 20 years in public and private education and is currently an education consultant and a distance education professor.
Smith holds a BS in elementary and special education from Columbia College, an MEd from the University of South Carolina, and a doctorate of education in education administration from Nova Southeastern University. Smith is the author of Transition Toolbox, a book that focuses on transition issues and services for the mildly disabled individual.
