Lynn Abrahams, PhD, is a professor in the Program for the Advancement of Learning (PAL) at Curry College. She is also an education therapist who works with college and high school students with learning differences and their families. Her goal in both roles is to help students develop awareness of their approach to learning.
Abrahams presents frequent workshops for parents of college students to help inform and support them during the transition from high school to college. She co-hosts the College Parent Central podcast.
She earned a bachelor of arts degree in music therapy from Hartwick College and a master of education degree in moderate special needs from Lesley University. She then earned a doctor of philosophy degree in educational studies from Lesley University, specializing in adult learning and development.
