Deb Russell Bonanno is the president and founder of the consulting firm Deb Russell Inc., where she prioritizes bridging the gap between businesses and people with disabilities. Often described as a pioneer and leader in the field, Russell previously worked with Walgreens, where she spearheaded an initiative that elevated disability inclusion on a considerable and enduring scale.
Since then, she’s been committed to facilitating connections between employers and the disability community, while aiding the disability community in establishing robust ties with the business sector. Notably, she has crafted over 40 hours of engaging CESP courses, empowering job developers to build effective connections with businesses on behalf of their job seekers.

She has shared her expertise on the legislative platform, providing testimony before the United States Congress. Russell earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Illinois, Urbana–Champaign.
