Ellen B. Littman, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who has specialized in understanding people with neurodivergent brains for 35 years. She is widely respected for her expertise in working with women. Littman co-authored the book Understanding Girls With ADHD. She has written more than 60 articles on ADHD and related topics, as well as book chapters and continuing education training materials.

In addition to providing individual psychotherapy, Littman works with couples to optimize communication and empathy, and with entrepreneurs seeking to channel ADHD tendencies to their advantage. Her approach decreases the impact of stigma and shame, empowering individuals through a combination of psychoeducation, insight, coaching, and warm support.

Littman earned bachelor’s degrees from Brown University and Yale University, and a PhD in clinical psychology from Long Island University.
