Paul Yellin, MD, FAAP, is an associate professor of pediatrics at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, and director of the Yellin Center for Mind, Brain, and Education, an educational assessment practice in New York. Before that, he was national director of clinical programs at the All Kinds of Minds Institute; senior vice president, chief medical officer, and director of neonatology at NYU Downtown Hospital; and director of neonatal clinical services at NYU Medical Center, where he was named Faculty Teacher of the Year. He has also served in local and national leadership positions in the American Academy of Pediatrics, including serving as president of the New York City chapter. Yellin is a graduate of Princeton University and received his medical degree at the NYU School of Medicine. He completed his training at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital and at Babies Hospital of Columbia University. Yellin is board certified in both pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine.
