Roberto Olivardia is a clinical psychologist and lecturer in psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. In his private practice in Lexington, Massachusetts, he specializes in the treatment of ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and body dysmorphic disorder. He also focuses on issues faced by students with learning disabilities, like anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.

Olivardia is the co-author of The Adonis Complex, which explores issues with male body image. He’s appeared in Time, GQ, and Rolling Stone, and has been featured on Good Morning America, CNN, and VH1. He presents at webinars and national conferences. He serves on the professional advisory boards for CHADD, the Attention Deficit Disorder Association, and the National Association for Males with Eating Disorders, and on the scientific advisory board for ADDitude Magazine.
