Understood.org and UnidosUS study: Back-to-school 2021

This study by Understood and UnidosUS, the largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, finds that teachers and parents predict increased challenges in the areas of academics, mental health, and social and emotional well-being.

The 2021 Back-to-School Study was conducted in July 2021 by Understood.org and UnidosUS. It includes quantitative data from 495 educators and 1,005 parents of children with and without learning and thinking differences across the United States.
