Jenn Osen-Foss, MAT, is an instructional coach at Clear Creek Amana High School in Tiffin, Iowa. In this role, she uses her broad teaching experience to support teachers in improving student learning using strategies such as differentiated instruction, interventions, and co-planning.
Previously she was a special education teacher at Clear Creek Amana and a special education and social studies teacher at the Kingsbury Center, the oldest institution dedicated to serving students with learning disabilities and differences in Washington, DC.
Osen-Foss has worked with students with a wide variety of disabilities and differences, ranging from learning disabilities to emotional disturbance to autism. She specializes in developing social studies curricula to accommodate a wide range of learning styles, creating behavior management strategies, and designing and rolling out new classes.
Osen-Foss holds a BA in political science with a minor in sociology and certification in secondary education from Iowa State University, and an MAT in special education from Trinity University of Washington, DC.
