Christopher Boies is an innovative legal leader and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience across the fintech, energy, and corporate law sectors. Boies is the co-founder and chief legal officer of The Coterie, an a16z-backed fintech firm. He previously served as partner and general counsel at Caithness Energy. His career is anchored by a 19-year tenure at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, where he founded and led the firm’s corporate group through high-stakes international M&A and finance matters. A graduate of Yale Law School, he is an active investor and sits on several private and charitable boards.
