Chief People and Culture Officer, Understood
Seda Prezioso leads the People and Culture function at Understood. Her work spans talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits, HR compliance and operations, and employee experience. She also provides strategic leadership on the people and culture investments needed to drive organizational performance and advance Understood’s mission.
Prezioso brings more than 20 years of experience in global human resources leadership across Fortune 100 companies and high‑growth startups in technology, environmental services, luxury retail, travel, and telecom. Her international career has centered on the building and scaling of organizations, the elevation of talent and culture, transformation and change management, modern HR technology and AI‑enabled tools, and post–merger/aquisition integration.
Prezioso holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in fine arts and has a lifelong passion for creativity, design, art, and sports. She lives in Hoboken with her husband and son. As a family, they enjoy culinary travel and any destination that brings them close to the beach.
