Behind the Impact – Calvin Knie and Understood’s YouTube team

Behind the Impact:
YouTube users often are there to learn something new. Calvin and the Understood.org YouTube team make sure those users can trust the information they get from Understood’s channel.
1 in 4 Americans suspect they have ADHD
A 2024 study says that ADHD is on many people’s minds — yet just a fraction of them turn to a professional for help. Millions first turn to the internet.

A sea of videos to sort through
Search for ADHD on YouTube and you’ll be faced with endless pages of videos from creators telling you they know what’s best for you or your loved ones. How does anyone know who to trust?

It’s personal, for all 8.4 million viewers
