Episode transcript
Nathan Friedman: Hey listeners, I'm Nathan Friedman, Co-President and CMO of Understood.org. We're back with a special season of "Minds at Work", a series we're calling "Conversations from Davos".
Understood.org has partnered with the Davos Neurodiversity Summit to cover the most important themes and conversations at this year's summit which takes place alongside the 2026 World Economic Forum. I'll be handing the mic over to Dr. Maureen Dunne, a neuroscientist and global neurodiversity expert. She is also the author of the award-winning book "The Neurodiversity Edge" and is the founder of the Davos Neurodiversity Summit, which is in its second year.
Dr. Maureen Dunne: We've kind of brought together a really amazing group of people that truly believe in the importance of neuro-inclusivity and neuro-inclusive leadership. And the idea is just can we create a space where neurodivergent leaders and allies and people of all neurotypes, right, where we can really join together and problem solve together and have these important conversations?
Nathan: This special season of "Minds at Work" offers access to intimate conversations with key leaders. Dr. Dunne will be covering topics including bridging generational divides, leading with empathy, and how neurodivergent individuals will shape our future.
Maureen: It's incredibly helpful to bring together people from many different walks of life, you know, the corporate world, the education world, the policy world, and come up with a framework that moves beyond just accommodation to what kind of infrastructure do we need to be developing, right, that is going to allow everyone to thrive and do their best work and feel a sense of belonging. Really Davos is the starting point of those conversations.
Nathan: Tune in to this special season, "Minds at Work: Conversations from Davos", to discover how neurodiversity will shape the future of business as well as creativity. Available wherever you get your podcasts.
